Fit for: Brompton G-Line (rental available)
Riding distance: Approx. 720 km
Exclusive group: 6-8 guests

A journey through Patagonia where raw wilderness, vast landscapes, and refined adventure merge into one immersive experience.

Embark on a fourteen-day journey through the raw and expansive landscapes of southern Patagonia, where every pedal stroke reveals a new vista, a deeper sense of scale, and a closer connection to one of the world’s most untamed regions. This is not merely a cycling tour—it is a retreat, a chance to move at your own pace while immersing yourself in wild nature, solitude, and understated comfort.

The adventure begins beside the Perito Moreno Glacier in El Calafate. Guests are welcomed with the awe-inspiring sight of ice breaking into turquoise waters and deep cracks echoing across the valley. After a brief orientation and bike fitting, the first ride begins along open roads where the pampas stretch endlessly, low grasses bending under constant wind, and the horizon blends seamlessly with the sky. Rolling terrain and alternating gravel and tarmac allow the Brompton to glide steadily across the landscape, small yet precise against the elements.

As the journey continues southward toward Torres del Paine, dramatic granite towers rise abruptly from the plains, reflected in shimmering lakes. Each stage is measured not by speed but by awareness: steady climbs, effortless descents, and quiet moments to absorb the vastness. Along the way, the route includes stretches of gravel that hum beneath the tyres, farm-to-table lunches in remote settings, and evenings spent either camping under wide Patagonian skies or staying in simple local accommodations where warmth and shared meals feel grounding.

Where Patagonia Breathes

Discover Patagonia at a measured pace on your Brompton. Ride across glaciers, windswept plains, and dramatic mountain passes, pause to absorb the vast landscapes and local flavors, and immerse yourself in nature’s raw, untamed beauty. Fourteen days of carefully curated routes, comfortable accommodations, and moments of quiet reflection.

Crossing the Strait of Magellan by ferry introduces a different rhythm—seabirds tracing invisible currents above, the water cold and clear, the landscape raw and exposed. In Tierra del Fuego, long roads and wide skies foster reflection, while the Brompton’s compact design and stability allow riders to handle the wind and shifting terrain with confidence. Guides accompany each group, moving at the same rhythm, offering support without urgency.

The journey culminates with the final ascent over Garibaldi Pass before descending into Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. Arrival is quiet—Bromptons folded, packed, and cleaned; the wind moving through the harbour, the air thinner, lighter. What remains is not distance, but perspective, scale, and a profound connection to the immensity of Patagonia.

This Patagonia Essential is designed for those who seek more than sightseeing. It harmonizes cycling, nature, and moments of true solitude, offering carefully curated accommodations, expert guides, and support along the route. Every detail ensures that the focus remains on the journey itself, allowing guests to slow down, breathe, and fully experience one of the planet’s most extraordinary regions.
